BERKLEY: an update and 3 month pics!

So these are the beautiful pictures that our friend, Heather, took for us when Berkley was 3 months old. I can't believe that it's already almost been 3 months since they were done but we love them so we have to share them!

Even though she's 3 months in these pictures I am going to share her 4 month stats in this post too! At her 4 month appointment she weighed 14 lbs 8.5 oz and was 24 3/4 inches long with a head circumference of 40.5 cm. She was in the 75th percentile for height and weight and the 40th percentile for head circumference. She is just absolutely perfect...not too chubby and not too skinny, JUST RIGHT!

We started cereal on the day that she turned 4 months old and she did pretty good with it. Now she eats a fruit or vegetable (full container!) and a bowl of rice cereal mixed with formula and applesauce each day! She LOVES to eat anything and everything!

One of her absolute favorite things to eat is otterpops, just like her daddy! She actually will cry if she knows that we're eating them without sharing...so funny and cute! She even recognizes the crushing noise when we bite some off so there's no hiding the otterpops from her! Bread is another favorite and she has started being able to put the Gerber puffs in her mouth by herself! She's a messy eater but she's so stinkin cute! Yesterday she was actually making chewing motions in her sleep instead of sucking! It was hilarious!

Even with all of her eating she seems to be staying about the same size. Why? This little girl never stops moving! She loves rolling from her back to her side and going back and forth like this! She hasn't done a complete roll from her back to her tummy yet but she loves to just lay on her side and play. We're pretty sure she can finish but she's just content on her side and doesn't want to. She definitely knows what she wants and does what she wants to do!

She also loves playing in her activity center. She shakes her toys and throws them and spins around in her little chair to play with all of the fun things! This reminds me, yesterday I put her in the car and gave her a rattle which she promptly grabbed and threw at me, almost making it fall out of the car. Later, Aaron gave her the same toy and she threw it out of her carseat again so I am convinced that it wasn't a coincidence! Little stinker!

I would have to say that Berkley's favorite things to do lately are to purse her lips and spit/blow bubbles and to play with her feet! Last night she actually grabbed her foot and was putting it in her mouth WHILE I was feeding her! Luckily I was able to get her foot down before she succeeded but still!

We love our perfect little Berkley SO much and can't believe how quickly she is maturing and developing into a little girl! We are excited for the fun things to come and are so thankful for our angel!

Berkley loves her mommy!

I get to spend a lot of time with my cute little Berkey Bug and I LOVE it! Being a stay-at-home mom is not only amazing, but it is a huge blessing in my life and I am so thankful to my Heavenly Father for making it financially possible for me to stay home with my angel!

This is one of my favorite pictures of Berkley and I! It was taken on Mother's Day. It was the best first Mother's Day ever! I woke up to breakfast in bed, my hubby got me some cute clothes and the most precious card ever! I loved it!

Going jogging together!

Berkley at the end of her first 5K...ZONKED! She was asleep pretty much the whole time. She seriously loves to be outside and she loves her stroller!

Swimming for the first time ever at the Clearfield Aquatic Center! Berkley truly is the cutest little water bug ever! I loved seeing how much she loved the pool!

Lounging around in the hot tub! She fell asleep minutes later! So precious!

Falling asleep while mommy and daddy read scriptures! I love snuggling my little bug!

One second she was awake and playing and the next she was asleep in my arms! So cute!

Two Lovebirds Sitting in a Tree!!!

I often think, "What on Earth did we talk about before Berkley was born?" Well here is my break away from the normal "all about Berkley" talk to share about Aaron and I.

We don't take a lot of time to be together, just the two of us, now that Berkley is here. Neither of us can complain because we love her so much, but it definitely is nice to get away together and feel how much we love each other. For our anniversary we went to Park City May 18th through May 20th. Aaron was lucky to get that much time off of work and we absolutely loved our time together. By the way, Berkley stayed with grandma and grandpa when it was just Aaron and I and she spent the night at the hotel with us. It was perfect!

Enjoying our dinner at Ruth's Chris! They had a cute "Happy Anniversary" card on the table for us when they seated us and they called us by name during the whole dinner! So AWESOME!

Aaron found his lazy spot within minutes of getting to the hotel room. We stayed in a suite at the Marriott. It was so nice and big!

The dining room off of the bedroom in our suite!

Aaron's fascination besides me!

All ready to go out to dinner the first night!

On our actual anniversary, May 19th, we went to the Cheesecake Factory. It was the first time for both of us and it was YUMMY! Aaron got the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup cheesecake and I got the red velvet cheesecake. It was literally the BEST cheesecake I have ever had!

It was a perfect anniversary celebration for our 5th anniversary and it was very memorable...especially the part where it snowed both the day that we shopped the outlets and the next day! That hasn't happened to us before on our anniversary!

The beautiful gerber daisies that I woke up to on my anniversary! Aaron is such a sweetie!

Another very quick getaway to Taco Amigo in Pleasant Grove to get the infamous ice cream cones with little toys on top! YUM!

Berkley's First Easter!

Easter was super fun! Berkley's grandma and grandpa did a lunch with an Easter egg hunt on Saturday and she got to wear her cute little outfit from grandma. On Sunday, we went to her cousin Blake's blessing and then down to grandma and grandpa's down in Pleasant Grove. She got super spoiled and we had lots of fun!

The Easter Bunny pooped jelly beans all over our floor!

I want those jelly beans!!!

YUMMY!!!

Playing with friends and family!

Berkley is a people person and loves to play! These are a few pictures of her with some of her favorite people to play with!

Berkley playing with her great-grandma! Grandma has a surprised look on her face because Berkley laughed at her playing peek-a-boo with her! So fun!

Great-grandma again!

Being admired by her uncles (Paxton, Austin, and Jace)!

Hanging out with mommy and daddy at the driving range! She was so happy the whole time! She loves to be outside!

Playing with Ellie! Ellie loves to hold Berkley!

Playing with her lion puppet! She likes to eat his face!

Sitting with Lindsey, my awesome friend from growing up who is fighting cancer, after doing the 5K, Run for Lindsey (Mommy's second 5K ever)!

All snuggled up on grandma's lap!

Playing with the cute pink zebra Uncle Paxton gave her!

Grandma feeding Berkley num-nums!

Hanging out with Scarlet after going for a walk. Scarlet was so upset and Berkley grabbed her arm as if to say, "It's okay, friend!" It was so freakin adorable! I love my little sweetie!

Diapers! Diapers! Diapers!!!

Because I had so many diapers stocked up before I had Berkley, I ALWAYS forget to buy more diapers! Now that she's wearing size 3's and will be for a while, I need to stock up again so I don't have more situations like the current one! I literally was down to 2 diapers this morning so I changed Berkley's bum and was left with one. Not even 5 minutes later she pooped! Not just a little either! It's almost a blow-out! I guess it's time to run to the store! Hopefully I find more time sometime today to finish catching up!

Berkley's first size 3 diaper!

Daddy!

I seriously love these pictures! Enjoy!

Watching TV with daddy! (And trying to get his food!)

Right after going swimming for her first time ever! I think her cute, dimply smile shows how much she loved it!

Helping daddy blow up her floatie!

GO UTES!

All snuggled up! My favorite view of the two of them together!

All bundled up and ready for a morning jog!

Watching TV again! Seriously, I don't know what these two would do without TV!

So sweet!

Such a sleepy girl!

Visiting daddy at work! Berkley loves to go see him! He loves it too cause he gets to show off the little doll!

Playing with a giant Easter egg!

In honor of yesterday's holiday (Father's Day), I just want to say that Aaron is better than I ever imagined or hoped for, both as a husband and a father. I know that he will always play a key role in our children's lives and he will be the great example that they need at all times! I know that Berkley loves him and looks up to him already. She's a daddy's girl through and through and we both love it! I can't get enough of seeing the sweet man with our angel!
