CRAZY BUSY FEBRUARY!

February was ridiculously fast!  In fact, it went so fast that I literally thought it was March the other day and I wished a friend "Happy Birthday!"...a whole month EARLY!  I'm sure the crazy hormones that come along with pregnancy had something to do with it too though!

Berkley is one funny little girl!  She seriously makes me laugh so hard!  She has so much personality and I love to watch her learn and grow!  Above she is trying to climb through the baby gate...not working!

She also LOVES her coat!  She brought it to me, crying, until I put it on her!  I can't say that I blame her though!  I would want to wear my coat all of the time too if it was that cute!  She does the funniest things with her hands!  This is one of many pictures to show it!  She plays hide and seek and hides her own eyes and I love it!

I had a birthday in February, on Groundhog's Day, and I got to spend the whole day with Aaron and Berkley!  It was the best!  We had a lazy morning with confetti pancakes and bacon for breakfast, went shopping and bought some cute stuff for our little guy on the way (because there's no point in buying cute clothes for myself when I can buy things for my babies instead!), I got an adjustment at the best chiropractor ever (Dr. Free in Pleasant Grove), and we went to the temple while my parents watched Berkley for us!

I have craved funeral potatoes pretty seriously with this pregnancy so that's what I had for dinner!  Aaron and my family made two pans of funeral potatoes (I pretty much ate a whole pan by myself between the dinner and the next two days) and my parents made an AMAZING ham!  It was such an awesome birthday!

Berkley had the NASTIEST blowout!  She was farting a lot and we thought nothing of it because that's normal for her then Aaron picked her up and saw the poop ALL over her back and clothes!  It took a while to find all of the poop smeared around the room but I think we did!  It was on the ottoman, piano chair leg, couch, trash can, floor, and one of her toys!  HOLY MOLY that kid can POOP!!!

One day Berkley was laying on the floor relaxing and next thing I knew, she was asleep!  SO CUTE!
Berkley discovered that she can push toys up to furniture to climb up on it!  SCARY!!!  And she is still a fan of undressing herself!  It cracks me up!

This is how Berkley helps out in the kitchen!  She loves to play in this drawer!  Eating clothes was an obsession for a day!  I couldn't keep them out of her mouth!   My mom took us shopping in Park City for my birthday present and Berkley was SO exhausted!  Poor girl!  Berkley always manages to get herself stuck in the weirdest places!  She was screaming for help but I couldn't resist snapping a picture first!

Berkley loves to be naughty!  Especially when it involves pulling out wipes or going through my diaper bag...which she manages to do together!  She's so proud of it too!  She loves to play in her new BIG GIRL car seat!  I don't remember why she was crying but I love how she dramatically covers her mouth when she cries now!  Too funny!

She is so cute when she reads books!  She actually makes noise as if she's really reading!  She's so dang smart!  Berkley has been such a good girl while mommy has been busy packing and cleaning!  She even put herself to sleep one day!  I couldn't believe how cute it was!

Good behavior can't go unrewarded so we took our princess out for ICE CREAM!!!  She had her very own kiddy cone from Arctic Circle and she loved every bit of it!  After she finished hers she reached for daddy's...and of course he gave her some!  Spoiled little angel!

This little girl LOVES everything!  She has seriously become such a snuggle bug as she's gotten older!  I love when she snuggles up with her daddy and they both fall asleep!  It's unbelievably precious!  She also LOVES Sesame Street!  Elmo and Abby are her favorites!  She was "giving loves" to Abby and I almost had to buy the doll for her because she was so sad when I put her back!

Our little girl just might be good at sports (DEFINITELY not from mommy!)!  She loves to walk around and kick her balls!  It's adorable!  Berkley also loves to be a big girl at the dinner table!  Drinking from a straw is something she mastered months ago and now I trust her to hold her own cup!  I can't believe how mature she is already!  She needs to slow down!!!

Who says that bouncers are for LITTLE babies?!  Not Berkley!  She randomly walked up to the bouncer at my cousin's house and sat down in it!  She seriously was so proud to have her own chair!  Ever since then she has been obsessed with playing in and sitting in her bouncer (that I had to pull out again after having it put away for MONTHS) and I think it's so CUTE!

More proof that Berkley is a STINKER...she walked over to me, pulled the blanket off of me, walked a few feet away and sat down with the blanket!  I couldn't stop laughing!  Later I put her in her bouncer for a nap!  It was so cute!  She actually fell asleep holding both ears (something whe's done since a young age whenever she's tired) and I was so glad to catch a picture of it!  I love this little girl so much!

We went to Furniture Warehouse in SLC for the first time ever!  They're closing so we thought we would take a look!  Berkley looked so TINY in the famous chair from the commercials!  We also got to meet the older cowboy guy from the commercials as we walked in!  CRAZY!

The middle picture is my mischievious girl sticking out her tongue at me just before pulling off her headband!  STINKER!  The last picture was taken today!  Berkley was taking her nap when she decided to wake up, reposition, wrap her arm around my neck, pull me closer to her, and go back to sleep!  It was so precious!  I love that she's such a snuggle bug and I'm going to take FULL advantage of it while I can!

I don't have pictures yet, because they aren't all the way grown in yet, but Berkley FINALLY (after teething for literally 11 months - 2.5 months old to just over 13.5 months old) cut some teeth!  The first one broke the skin on the 20th (bottom left)and the second one broke the skin on the 26th (bottom right)!  They are SO cute!!!  I'm so glad that I can soon feed her more foods without having to chop them up into teeny pieces!  Yay for my BIG GIRL!!!  AND...YAY for being over halfway through my pregnancy and for having an AWESOME February with my AWESOME friends and family!  Bring on March and SPRING!!!

Berkley's First Birthday!!!

Yup! Our little princess isn't so little anymore...SHE'S ONE!!!
On January 3rd, 2011 at 4:06 AM this beautiful girl came into our lives forever! She weighed 7 lb 1.6 oz and was 19.5 inches long! At one year old she weighs 19 lb 4 oz and is 29 inches long! It's amazing to me that she has grown that much already! What is even more amazing is how much my heart has grown over the past year! I love this little girl SO much!!! She is truly amazing and SO precious to me! I can't imagine not having her wonderful self in my life! I am so thankful to be her mommy and I look forward to all of the wonderful years to come...hopefully they will pass by more slowly than this past year did though! I LOVE YOU, BERKEY BOO!!!
She makes such a cute Birthday Girl!
Her cake was SO yummy!!!
Our awesome friend and photographer, Kaylee, took these perfect pictures for us and I absolutely LOVE how they turned out! She captured so many "Berkley" moments and I will treasure these pictures forever! A BIG thanks to her!
Berkley was all grins when she woke up! It was as if she knew it was her special day! She had some confetti pancakes for breakfast (YUMMY!)...
...and opened some presents from mommy and daddy! Then we all got dressed and went down to Utah county to have lunch with the grandparents!
We got to Macaroni Grill a little bit before everyone else so we just waited in the car and let Berkley pretend to drive! She LOVED it!
She got to eat a yummy chicken and pasta lunch and open more presents! The opera singer came and sang "Happy Birthday" to her and then we were off to Build-a-Bear!
Berkley was so curious and excited while we were there. We let her pick out her own bear (she picked the confetti bear of course!) and she got to hold it while we waited to get it stuffed!
She picked out the heart for her bear all by herself and even pushed the pedal on the stuffing machine! After getting a cute outfit from grandma and making a birth certificate for Sprinkles we were done! She sure does love Sprinkles!
When we got home she got to play with some of her favorite "aunts" and "uncles", Ryan, Ashley, Nate, and Josie! She looked so stinkin cute in her cupcake birthday PJ's! Happy Birthday, little princess!
Her party was on the 7th, a Saturday, so more people would be able to make it! It was nice to have it on a separate day from her actual birthday so we were able to just have a relaxing and enjoyable day! This was the setup for the party! I made the BERKLEY banner all by myself! It was a great turn-out with over 40 people to party with her!
She LOVED her cake! It took her about 20 minutes to eat all she wanted of it and she was SO adorable and SO covered in cake afterwards! It was PERFECT! We don't have pictures of her opening her presents but she got a TON and LOVED opening them and she LOVES to play with them!
Her party was EXACTLY how I imagined it and I think she had a great time...I know we did!

Crazy Fast January!

January went extemely fast for us! It's crazy to think that Berkley has already been 1 for almost a full month! Her birthday post will be separate because there are a lot of pictures and details!
We love every day with our little princess and our little prince is growing fast too! I'm already 18 weeks along (as of the 30th) and loving being pregnant! It's way easier and faster when you have a cute little toddler to entertain and chase around all day!
Happy New Year! It was Berkley's first New Year's celebration and she stayed up the whole time! What a champ! For her last meal as a baby she got to have french fries from Dylan's! SO YUMMY!!! She loves having a bowl of Cheerios for breakfast! She even drinks the milk when the cereal is gone! She's growing up so dang fast!
Berkley FINALLY has enough hair to do something with it! She didn't even have her hair done for the first time until she was 1! SO CRAZY! I painted her toenails and my fingernails the same color and it was so cute! She learned how to take off her pajama pants and she loves to do it! Cute little stinker!
Our little princess is super silly sometimes! We sure do love her!
...and how precious is she taking a nap with her pillow pet?! She melts my heart!
Berkley is a very loving baby! She loves to hold and pat any part of me that she can get to and she seems to find my leg most of the time! SO CUTE!!! She LOVES to feed herself and spaghetti was extra fun for her! Another favorite of hers is to pull the shoes out of the shoe basket and climb into it to play. It's so funny! I loved the outfit in the other picture so I had to share it!
Berkley loves to "help" me cook! She also loves lollipops! She ate that tootsie pop all the way down to the tootsie roll center! It was so adorable!
She got to have Wendy's for the first time ever (it won't happen often because I don't eat there and I haven't had any kind of burger or sandwich from Wendy's in almost 4 years!) and I caught a cute picture of her smiling through her binky!
Berkley smacked her head on the only part of our ottoman that isn't cushioned, the hinge, and instantly had a huge green indent on her head! It was so horrible!
She loves to love on her baby and scowl at us! Her scowl is hilarious! She's trying not to smile as she does it...I LOVE IT!!!
Berkley had her VERY FIRST pajama day on the 30th because she was so SICK!!! It was so sad!
She was so funny! She said, "HAHA" as she walked away from me! I about died laughing!
When it snowed on January 23rd we took Berkley out to play! We put on her cute pink boots with pom poms and her fun Roxy coat that she just got and she looked simply ADORABLE!!! She wasn't too sure about her daddy's gloves or the snow but she had a fun time anyways!
Berkley's first snowman and snow angel! She was such a cute snow baby!

PREGNANT!!! Baby #2 on the way!!!

Weeks 5, 6, 7, 8
Weeks 9, 10, 11, 12
Weeks 13, 14, 15
That's right! I'm 15 weeks and 1 day pregnant today! That means that I'm due on July 2nd, 2012! I'm going to Guy Cox at Ogden Nurse Midwives (and I LOVE him!) and I will be delivering at Ogden Regional Medical Center! Since early on in the pregnancy I have been the biggest BOOB! I cry almost constantly! Over anything and everything! It's kind of crazy and I get teased a lot for it! Interestingly enough, I have felt more sick during the second trimester than I did during the first. I actually threw up for the first time exactly one week ago, on Berkley's 1st Birthday! It sucked! The fatigue hasn't worn off yet...hopefully soon though! I have started feeling congested recently, which I had forgotten about happening with Berkley...it SUCKS! For the past several weeks I feel sick and short-of-breath if I am even slightly on my back which means that I have to sleep completely on my side and have had to for a while now. It kind of sucks. My waist has grown nearly 1 inch in the past 5 weeks but I don't look nearly as pregnant as I did with Berkley at this point. I still haven't had to wear maternity pants yet (YAY!) and I am going through TONS of toilet paper! I'm pretty sure I've had some Braxton Hick's contractions already, SUCKY! My hips haven't given me nearly as many problems as they did with Berkley by this point (ANOTHER YAY!) and so far I am just loving being pregnant!
We got the positive on October 28th! We were so excited (and kind of unexpectant!) and I instantly started crying! It was such a special moment to share with each other!
Our little pumpkin patch!
The baby's Halloween costume! The littlest Ute in our family!
Before making the announcement to our parents we wanted to double check! Yup! Still PREGNANT!!!
We gave this framed gift to our parents to announce the news on November 6th! I was almost 6 weeks pregnant at that time!
This was our very first ultrasound on November 8th (6 weeks 1 day)!
This was our second ultrasound on November 22nd (8 weeks 1 day)!
On Thanksgiving we decided to share our news with the rest of our families...then the Facebook world! I was 8 weeks and 3 days pregnant! Berkley doesn't look too happy about becoming a big sister but I'm sure she'll get used to it!
On Berkley's birthday (January 3rd) we decided to find out the gender of our baby so we went to Fetal Studio and...
here's the profile of our little babe at 14 weeks and 1 day...
and the face of our baby looking right at us...
and IT'S A BOY!!!
We are extremely excited to be having another baby and even more excited and blessed to be able to have one of each gender! We can't wait to meet this little guy!
We love you, little buddy!
P.S. We both felt that it was a boy when we first found out I was pregnant but I guessed girl and Aaron guessed boy! I guess that in the future I should just know that the baby is always the opposite of what I guess!

Lots of pictures in December 2011!!!

Dumping her food and making a mess, looking shocked, snuggling with mama!
Happy girl at the doctor's office, rocking her sweet pink pompom boots, "I'm no cotton headed ninny muggins!"
During December we decided to sell our dog, Allie. She was a sweet, obedient dog and we miss her but I definitely don't miss chasing Berkley away from her food and stuff!
We got to go to Temple Square to see all of the lights and Berkley LOVED it! She was so excited the whole time!
The middle picture is funny because she was pissed off at me for telling her no because she wanted to play with grandma's tree!
Cute girl at Christmas time! She's been good all year, just ask grandma!
Christmas Eve! All of us in our Christmas PJ's!
Santa's cookies before and after, the yummy rolls Aaron makes every year, and all of the presents under the tree!
Our Christmas dress clothes, our family ornament, and Berkley's First Christmas ornament!
She loves her daddy!
Kissing her baby, slurping spaghetti (she's a pro already!), standing up really well, and taking off her pants! Yes, she has already learned this bad habit! She's done it again since this picture too!
