On January 3rd, 2011 at 4:06 AM this beautiful girl came into our lives forever! She weighed 7 lb 1.6 oz and was 19.5 inches long! At one year old she weighs 19 lb 4 oz and is 29 inches long! It's amazing to me that she has grown that much already! What is even more amazing is how much my heart has grown over the past year! I love this little girl SO much!!! She is truly amazing and SO precious to me! I can't imagine not having her wonderful self in my life! I am so thankful to be her mommy and I look forward to all of the wonderful years to come...hopefully they will pass by more slowly than this past year did though! I LOVE YOU, BERKEY BOO!!!
She makes such a cute Birthday Girl!
Berkley was all grins when she woke up! It was as if she knew it was her special day! She had some confetti pancakes for breakfast (YUMMY!)...
...and opened some presents from mommy and daddy! Then we all got dressed and went down to Utah county to have lunch with the grandparents!
We got to Macaroni Grill a little bit before everyone else so we just waited in the car and let Berkley pretend to drive! She LOVED it!
She got to eat a yummy chicken and pasta lunch and open more presents! The opera singer came and sang "Happy Birthday" to her and then we were off to Build-a-Bear!
Berkley was so curious and excited while we were there. We let her pick out her own bear (she picked the confetti bear of course!) and she got to hold it while we waited to get it stuffed!
She picked out the heart for her bear all by herself and even pushed the pedal on the stuffing machine! After getting a cute outfit from grandma and making a birth certificate for Sprinkles we were done! She sure does love Sprinkles!
When we got home she got to play with some of her favorite "aunts" and "uncles", Ryan, Ashley, Nate, and Josie! She looked so stinkin cute in her cupcake birthday PJ's! Happy Birthday, little princess!
Her party was on the 7th, a Saturday, so more people would be able to make it! It was nice to have it on a separate day from her actual birthday so we were able to just have a relaxing and enjoyable day! This was the setup for the party! I made the BERKLEY banner all by myself! It was a great turn-out with over 40 people to party with her!
She LOVED her cake! It took her about 20 minutes to eat all she wanted of it and she was SO adorable and SO covered in cake afterwards! It was PERFECT! We don't have pictures of her opening her presents but she got a TON and LOVED opening them and she LOVES to play with them!
She makes such a cute Birthday Girl! Our awesome friend and photographer, Kaylee, took these perfect pictures for us and I absolutely LOVE how they turned out! She captured so many "Berkley" moments and I will treasure these pictures forever! A BIG thanks to her!
