Berkley in July!

I know I'm super behind so I will try to keep these posts shorter. I just love to share my pictures of Berkley and I find comfort in knowing that if all else fails, I will always have my blog as a sort of scrapbook for her!

I LOVE this outfit on her!

Sprawled out!

She's a BIG girl! Driving the car already!

Out to dinner with her friend, Scarlet, at the Pizza Factory!

I took this picture in the dark and I think the flash totally surprised her! I love this picture!

Playing with her twinner, Scarlet, in her bedroom! So cute!

Sleeping nakey!

Who, me?!

Playing the guitar with daddy! So cute! This little bug really LOVES music! She gets SO excited when Aaron plays the piano or guitar and sings!

Sitting at the parade on the 24th! So cute! I made her tutu myself!

Such a sweet, loving baby girl!

She really enjoyed doing sparklers with daddy!

I love this outfit on her!

All ready to go swimming, one of Berkley's favorite things ever!

Looking out the window, watching for daddy to get home! She was so excited!

Drinking out of a big girl cup! She threw a fit when she saw me with my ice water so I shared with her and she loved it!

I ADORE this beautiful princess!

She untied the pretty bow on her bumper pad...what a stinker!

Totally ZONKED in her carseat!

Even SHE loves the rolls at Texas Roadhouse!

My mom with Berkley and my Aunt Janeen with her new (first) grandbaby, Caden! So precious! It's so weird that these two are grandmas now! They sure don't look like it!

The Temple!

It is crazy to see the Ogden Temple being completely redone. This picture was taken a while ago. It looks completely different now. When we went to the temple and felt that we should start a family, it was around April 8th, 2010. I'm sad to say that we didn't make it back to the Ogden Temple before this major remodel started. In fact, we didn't make it back to the temple until 2 days ago, August 9th, 2011. That means that we went 16 months without going to the temple! That's way too long! It was so peaceful to go to the Logan Temple the other day and I am so thankful to have such a beautiful place to go to and have all of the worldly stresses lifted off of my shoulders for a few hours and to think about the things that matter the most to me. I am so thankful for the beautiful little family that I have been blessed with and I am hoping to make it to the temple more often now! Thanks to my mom for coming up and watching Berkley so we could go! I can't tell you how much we needed it!

Bear Lake! Woohoo! Finally a vacation!

We were invited by our friends, Brad and Heather Taylor, to go to Bear Lake from July 15th to 17th. Seeing as we hadn't been on a vacation in a VERY long time and it was a way fun group of friends, we did everything to make it possible for us to go and we went! We stayed in a super awesome cabin, practically a house, and played games and went to the pool (there wasn't a beach because the water was SO high!) and loved spending time with great friends! Our other friends that went were Nate and Josie Barker and Cass and Taylor Pebley with their baby, Scarlet. It was the perfect group!

Making funny faces together before taking off for a weekend of fun!

Cool shades! (Berkley and Nate)

"I can stay up all night, right?!"

Mom's Beach Beauty!

Layin' out at the pool! It was so relaxing!

Yummy hands!

Our little family on our first vacation together! So sweet! Thanks again to Brad and Heather for inviting us! We had a blast and can't wait to do that again!

A Day at the ZOO!!!

On Thursday we went to the zoo together! I couldn't remember the last time I went and Aaron hadn't been since he was a teenager so it was exciting for all 3 of us! A little while ago I bought this cute little giraffe print t-shirt for Berkley to wear when she went to the zoo for the first time. I was so excited for her to wear it!

I bought a season pass so we will be making more trips to the zoo for sure!

Berkley was super happy, probably because she was outside and mommy and daddy were both with her! She seriously loves spending time with her daddy!

Berkley hid in a cave!

She didn't love poking her head up in the skunk window...okay, she HATED it!

These little tiny monkeys were probably my personal favorite! They were so cute and little and ORANGE!

Look how cute that little thing is!

Looking at the monkeys outside!

Our baby monkey! She's the cutest monkey at the zoo without a doubt!

The elephants were another favorite! The baby was so cute!

Berkley loved hanging out in her stroller!

It was a really hot day so we decided to get some ice cream cones. Berkley decided that she needed some ice cream too! At one point she actually grabbed my cone and shoved it into her mouth, getting ice cream all over her hand! That's why I'm holding her hand down in this picture!

Lounging! I love when she does this!

I think the hat is a little big!

She loved sitting on daddy's shoulders!

As we were going to look at the last little bit of the zoo, Berkley crashed! She was so cute sleeping in her stroller!

The giraffes were another favorite!

Those long necks are so intriguing!

As we were shopping for a souvenir for Berkley, she woke up! We found this super cute little book which is perfect because she LOVES books (I think her excited grin shows how much she liked the souvenir!)!

It was an awesome day for all of us and we can't wait to go again!

Lindsey!

On June 28th we had the privilege to go visit my friend, Lindsey! She has been through an awful lot over the past 11 years and she is a constant miracle and an awesome example to everyone around her! She is such a strong person and a fighter! I have never seen anybody fight cancer like she does! I love her so much and am so thankful for her friendship! We first became friends when we were just 10 years old! I have known her through all of her struggles with brain tumors and I am convinced now more than ever before that Heavenly Father is capable of doing anything! She was given weeks to live 5 months ago and she is still hanging on! Please check out her story and donate for her health care if you can! Visit forlindsey.blogspot.com and livingthroughlaughter.com!

Keep fighting Lindsey! We love you!
