A Fun Day at Lagoon!

We went to Lagoon on August 1st with my family. It was Berkley's very first time (outside of the womb anyways) and she had a blast!

Ready for a day of fun!

Just outside the gate with grandma!

Our happy little family!

Aaron and I started by going on the bumper cars. Aaron jammed his toe into the pedal and bruised it pretty badly. I think it's still a little bruised actually!

Here's a close-up of his toe. It actually looked worse in the days to follow!

Me with my princess!

Aaron and I!

One of my favorite rides at Lagoon is the Tilt-a-Whirl! They actually let us take Berkley on it too so it was Berkley's very first Lagoon ride and she actually liked it!

All ready to twirl!

My mom took some pictures of us mid-ride! You can barely see Berkley but she's definitely there!

All done! Not one tear shed!

Berkley's second ride was the Baby Boats! She went in a boat with my little brother, Paxton!

This is my favorite picture from this ride! So precious!

Paxton loved showing everything to Berkley!

All done and she LOVED it! Notice how everyone is staring at her! Yeah, she's pretty much freakin adorable!

Hanging out in the stroller, playing with her feet!

Taking a break!

Such a big girl!

Waiting in line for the carousel!

Daddy and Berkley on their horsey!

Hold on!

"What's going on, mom?! This thing moves!"

"Okay, I love this!"

"I like those pointy things on the side of the head on this thing!"

She passed out pretty soon after the carousel! She was exhausted!

While she was sleeping, her Uncle Austin won this cute little penguin for her! So sweet!

After her nap, grandpa won this cute little piggy for her! What a spoiled girl!

Watching the train while waiting for our turn!

Uncles Paxton and Garrett!

Hanging out with grandma, grandpa, and Austin before the train started going!

Inside the dark tunnel!

Looking at the duckies!

There's the ostrich! Most of the animals were being lazy cause it was hot! It was still fun to ride the train and look at all of them though!

Aaron LOVES to play this game when we go to Lagoon! He always wins something! This time it was a medium prize, not too shabby!

He picked a flag!

Berkley had to stop for some food!

Grandma loves to feed her!

Aaron and Austin went on the catapult...TWICE! Crazy boys! They LOVED it too!

Picking her nose?!

We wore Berkley out pretty badly by the end of the day! It was a lot of fun though!

Berkley in July!

I know I'm super behind so I will try to keep these posts shorter. I just love to share my pictures of Berkley and I find comfort in knowing that if all else fails, I will always have my blog as a sort of scrapbook for her!

I LOVE this outfit on her!

Sprawled out!

She's a BIG girl! Driving the car already!

Out to dinner with her friend, Scarlet, at the Pizza Factory!

I took this picture in the dark and I think the flash totally surprised her! I love this picture!

Playing with her twinner, Scarlet, in her bedroom! So cute!

Sleeping nakey!

Who, me?!

Playing the guitar with daddy! So cute! This little bug really LOVES music! She gets SO excited when Aaron plays the piano or guitar and sings!

Sitting at the parade on the 24th! So cute! I made her tutu myself!

Such a sweet, loving baby girl!

She really enjoyed doing sparklers with daddy!

I love this outfit on her!

All ready to go swimming, one of Berkley's favorite things ever!

Looking out the window, watching for daddy to get home! She was so excited!

Drinking out of a big girl cup! She threw a fit when she saw me with my ice water so I shared with her and she loved it!

I ADORE this beautiful princess!

She untied the pretty bow on her bumper pad...what a stinker!

Totally ZONKED in her carseat!

Even SHE loves the rolls at Texas Roadhouse!

My mom with Berkley and my Aunt Janeen with her new (first) grandbaby, Caden! So precious! It's so weird that these two are grandmas now! They sure don't look like it!

The Temple!

It is crazy to see the Ogden Temple being completely redone. This picture was taken a while ago. It looks completely different now. When we went to the temple and felt that we should start a family, it was around April 8th, 2010. I'm sad to say that we didn't make it back to the Ogden Temple before this major remodel started. In fact, we didn't make it back to the temple until 2 days ago, August 9th, 2011. That means that we went 16 months without going to the temple! That's way too long! It was so peaceful to go to the Logan Temple the other day and I am so thankful to have such a beautiful place to go to and have all of the worldly stresses lifted off of my shoulders for a few hours and to think about the things that matter the most to me. I am so thankful for the beautiful little family that I have been blessed with and I am hoping to make it to the temple more often now! Thanks to my mom for coming up and watching Berkley so we could go! I can't tell you how much we needed it!

Bear Lake! Woohoo! Finally a vacation!

We were invited by our friends, Brad and Heather Taylor, to go to Bear Lake from July 15th to 17th. Seeing as we hadn't been on a vacation in a VERY long time and it was a way fun group of friends, we did everything to make it possible for us to go and we went! We stayed in a super awesome cabin, practically a house, and played games and went to the pool (there wasn't a beach because the water was SO high!) and loved spending time with great friends! Our other friends that went were Nate and Josie Barker and Cass and Taylor Pebley with their baby, Scarlet. It was the perfect group!

Making funny faces together before taking off for a weekend of fun!

Cool shades! (Berkley and Nate)

"I can stay up all night, right?!"

Mom's Beach Beauty!

Layin' out at the pool! It was so relaxing!

Yummy hands!

Our little family on our first vacation together! So sweet! Thanks again to Brad and Heather for inviting us! We had a blast and can't wait to do that again!
